Good for an office or second TV

Flat screen TV in a relatively small room. I had an older iLive sound bar that I found to be somewhat frustrating to sound variations and quality. Purchased this bar based on an older review in national magazine and price. When I replaced the older bar with the new one I had a far more attractive unit, but really not that much change in sound quality (though treble was more responsive). Eventually put back in the older iLive and found an old subwoofer to attach to deepen the sound range.

As noted by others, this is smaller than the photo would lead you to believe. It has some fairly funky screw-in peg legs for getting it above a surface for better sound quality, but I could not tell the difference with or without. Overall quality of sound is good and you can adjust the basic Treble/Bass balance to effect, but the range of low volume to high is very narrow. There is no means of plugging in a subwoofer or additional speakers (have some extras from dead computers) which would have corrected a number of sound issues.

Overall, even at the reduced price, didn't get the value I would of hoped for.
Sharp HTSB200 is a great value

I read a lot of the write ups on the product before I decided to purchase it.
I am not disappointed. It is a great product for the price. It is certainly not a surround sound / theater sound system, but I have 52 inch Sharp LCD TV, and the TV speakers are poor at best.. These speakers really enhance the sound from the TV.. I would recommend them to anyone that simply wants to have better speakers for their TV..

Good soundbar. Build quality is par with the TV. This is great for use in small/medium sized room. I simply unpacked it and placed the soundbar on the tv stand. The bar rests right below the sensors and IR window. Is it worth the price? Yes. If you have a Sharp TV its a bonus and works and looks perfect. My only gripe and that is why I give the unit 4 stars is because there is no way I can find to use my Direct TV remote in place of the soundbar remote.
Great Sound Bar

Reviewer: 3D,
I live in an apartment with a TV rear speaker that blasts neigbors. Needed a sound bar that puts the sound out the front. This sound bar does the job and more. It has a very good remote and four butons to control different levels of sound. This allows me to reduce the high pitch of commercials. It also has a mute button. The bar came with everything you need to set it up, RCA plugs, little feet to lift it up over the TV base and a battery for the remote. I am pleased with the purchase.
beats the stock speakers hands down

I bought this because my speakers in my TV were buzzing horribly and didn't want to have to repair it. Put this in and hooked it up to the rca connections...sounds great, I almost don't need to use my surround sound (almost)I'd recommend them to anyone who needs a little more than plain TV audio..
