Product Description |
Ideal for road trips and other on-the-go occasions, the DreamGear i.Sound 2x Plus foldable speaker system makes a handy addition to your iPod accessory collection. The system is built around an integrated iPod docking station and multiple iPod adapters, including a special adapter for the iPod nano. As a result, you can easily share your favorite music with friends wherever you roam. Listeners with other audio devices aren't left out of the loop, however, as the i.Sound 2x Plus also works with MP3 players, personal CD players, PSPs, laptops, and any other unit with a standard 3.5 mm headphone output. The i.Sound 2x Plus may be small, but it delivers a crisp, big sound thanks to its pair of stylish drivers and built-in Class D amplifier. The easy portability makes the speaker system a great companion in the garage, on the back patio, or at a friend's barbecue. The handiest feature, however, is the i.Sound 2x Plus's folding design, which collapses into a compact footprint and fits seamlessly in a suitcase, backpack, and virtually any other storage bag. The black i.Sound 2x Plus runs on four AAA batteries (not included) and carries a 120-day warranty. What's in the Box i.Sound 2x Plus, iPod adapters, user's manual.

I justed needed something to play a little music while I'm working on stuff by this little speaker is a pain. It runs on batteries so I had to go get them but they burned out super fast and batteries are expensive. I couldn't hear the music good when I'm cooking or doing much because the speakers aren't very loud. I didn't expect a really nice one but this is pure garbage. spent a little more and get one you can actually put to use.

No wonder the price is so low. This is a complete joke. There is no volume control and it doesn't produce sound loud enough to make it better than the internal speaker in my smart phone. Don't waste your time buying one. Mine is going into the garbage can.
Does it's job

This a decent speaker system for a small office, the sound is decent and the volume is dependent on the player itself so their's less fuss. However there is a distinctly poor design in a speaker that implys iPod friendliness. The my iPod nano doesn't align with the jack built into its alleged iPod Nano base, so I can't use it! It works fine overall (I'd advise investing in an adapter), but that was a real disappointment.
Nice, portable, good sound, eats batteries

I bought two of these sets of speakers for my iPod, one for work and one for home. The key factor for me was the cost, and then the portability, and the speakers work quite well given those two factors. The only negative is that each speaker set requires 4 AAA batteries, and it goes through them FAST... a couple of weeks or so. I'm planning to get a charger and rechargeable batteries, just haven't had a chance yet. Oh, the speakers have a dock that it says fits all iPods, but my Classic is too wide for it. But I just plug the cord into the headphone jack and lay the iPod flat on the table, and it works fine.
