Running cables all over the room for the sake of a pleasurable audio experience is a thing of the past.
After some rigorous testing and research we’ve put together an article featuring the top 3 wireless surround sound systems for 2015 which you’ll definitely enjoy.
Without any further do…
3rd Place – Sony HT-CT660
Sony’s HT-CT660 is a step up from the CT260H, which used to be the #1 best-selling soundbar on Amazon. It comes with a wireless subwoofer and offers a useful improvement in sound quality over the speakers included in today’s ultra-thin flat screen TVs.
The HT-CT660 is a fairly basic product, though it has the feature set necessary to survive in a modern home. If you’re looking to boost the audio quality of your snazzy wall mounted flat screen TV stylishly and affordably with a minimum of fuss and muss, Sony’s HT-CT660 soundbar-subwoofer system is certainly worth a look/listen.
2nd Place – Philips Fidelio HTL7180
Philips Fidelio HTL7180 – known as HTL9100 in the UK (depends on the region where the product is sold) – is the only truly wireless 5.1 sound solution available on the market.
Sure, there are plenty of sound bars that offer wireless transmission to satellite speakers.
But the Fidelio shifts the paradigm, offering wirelessly-connected surround speakers that you can detach to place them anywhere in your room for up to 10 hours of compression-free surround sound – no wires attached, they charge from the bar.
You might just about squeeze in a Lord of the Rings movie fest if you leave out The Hobbit.
On one hand, the Fidelio is a beautiful, feature packed system with an innovative design, intuitive interface, and crystal clear sound. On the other, freedom isn’t free, and the wireless lifestyle comes cheaper on Amazon.
1st Place – VIZIO S4251w
Vizio’s S4251W is one of the best values in audio we’ve seen in some time and currently the #1 best-selling soundbar on Amazon.
It delivers the sort of features and control that users have been longed after for years now, and does it with style, finesse and surprisingly good audio quality.
The satellite/surround speakers connect to the subwoofer via wires. The bass and surround sound information is sent wirelessly from the soundbar to the subwoofer. Hence this system is not completely wireless.
Sure, we could have done with some longer surround speaker wire lengths, and the sub can’t reach low enough that it will tickle your undercarriage, but that doesn’t change how much the system brings to the table.
Getting these features and sound quality cheaper on Amazon – is nothing short of astonishing to us.
If you want outstanding value for the money go for VIZIO S4251w-B4 without hesitation. If you don’t mind spending some extra dollars for the clutter-free approach, elegant aesthetic and remarkable convenience, you won’t regret investing some bucks for the Fidelio.
Now that you’ve decided which system is suitable for you, go for it!
